Requirements and skills
1. Good at Logical thinking
2. Have enough project management knowledge, skill and experience.
3. Be familiar with TS16949 quality management system and APQP/PPAP.
4. Be with engineering background.
5. Be aware of project financial analysis.
6. Good interpersonal skill.
7. Understand key project management tools, such as QFD DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plan, PPK/CPK, MSA, SPC, Flow Chart, Work Instruction, Production Capacity Evaluation, Problem solving, 8D and so on.
8. Good Microsoft office software skill, including Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities
1. Be project champion who is accountable for achieving project targets of cost, quality and timing.
– Prepare and update project target according to and get project management committee (PMC) approval on it.
2. Responsible for building cross-function teams (CFT) with function managers’ support as well as lead the CFTs to execute projects.
3. Make and/or update project budget, and get PMC approval on it, as well as approve expenditure request and track actual expenditure in order to make sure proper project profit.
4. Align project activities with VAST China Program Execution System (VPES), as well as facilitate and coordinate CFT members to finish VPES deliverables listed in .
– VPES includes 5 phases, 87 activities and about 326 deliverables, including all the requirements of APQP, PPAP and TS16949.
– Add special customer requirement in if appropriate, so that CFT can properly follow such the special requirement.
5. Make sure that technical reviews properly happen on time, including design review, process review, testing review, tooling design review and so on, in order to have right things be done right at beginning.
6. Make project plan according to and regularly track actual progress, as well as take timely action to make up the plan if actual progress deviates away from the original project plan.
7. Define the project scope and monitor any changes of project scope, such as design change, process change, supplier change, logistic change and others that can affect project cost, quality and/or timing.
8. Understand the methodology of risk management, and hosts meetings to identify and evaluate project risks as early as possible, as well as take proper mitigation actions to prevent risks from getting into real issues. Also, identify the trigger point and make a contingency plan.
9. Build and maintain proper communication channel among CFT members, as well as between CFT and other partners such as customers, alliance members and suppliers. And make sure proper project information is transmitted and shared among proper people.
10. Have CFT members properly create, share and file project documents according to the requirement of company document control procedure and VPES.
11. Support and facilitate program buyer to manage suppliers in order to make sure that all the suppliers follow company supplier management procedure and APQP/PPAP/TS16949.
12. Schedule regular meeting with CFT members to review project progress and discuss solution to project risks and issues, as well as publish meeting minutes on time. Also, attend regular overall project review meeting with management to report project progress, quality, cost and key issues.
