Main Responsibilities
? Maintenance/enforcement of Fame & Partners grading rules from size AU4 / US0 – AU26 / US22 - manage and approve graded spec charts, monitoring correct and consistent grade rules across all vendors.
? Review and tweaking of Fame & Partners Technical Pack template / layout, ensuring the best possible format for communication to factories; ongoing responsibility for creating and maintaining technicalpacks and fit comments.
? Creation of measurements for every new style in development, for briefing to factories
? Timely and accurate technical information from the design brief into the production and end product delivery.
? Manage and deliver to agreed standards of size, fit and construction maintaining consistency across the collection and approved blocks taking into consideration of different fabrics.
? Measuring and checking all garments prior to fitting, with the assistance of the Garment Technician;fit samples, photo-shoot samples, shipping samples for bulk orders.
? Brief QC team on each final approved collection & styles to follow through to orders/production.
? Lead all fit sessions with Design Team and Merchandisers, ensuring accuracy and timely response of fit debrief to factory; with a view toall modifications on construction, fit and finishes.
? Work closely with the Production Team to provide required costing information and fabric consumption for styles.
? Maintain critical path timelines across main and capsule collections to ensure that styles are sealed on time to achieve agreed delivery dates.
? Highlight potential risks with fit, construction or fabric for all new, proposed and existing styles. Problem-solve and avoid issues with creative thinking/thoughtful technical skill.
? Liaise with the Design Team with regards to ideas and changes that can be made to improve garments. Discuss development, cost and lead times on future fabrics, trims and components across sampling and bulk production.
? Spot check production and customer orders to ensure high standards are being met, report feedback directly to Production Team.
? Answer customer service question regarding customer orders, style and fit, fabric, alteration and amendment.
? Manage the workload, conduct and productivity of Garment Technician

Skills and Experience:
? Minimum 15 years technical product experiencein evening, occasion and fashion event dresses category, including for US/AU/European retailer or brand
? Exceptional knowledge of garment construction, trends and fabrics
? Strong understanding of block creation, pattern making and amendments
? Fluent in English and Mandarin
? Ability to grade styles varying in complexity, both standard and plus size
? Experience with Plus, Petite, Tall, custom-sizing, bridal
? Experience with communicating with multiple China suppliers
? Experience setting and achieving quality standards, appropriate to a high-end/luxury brand
? Organised and efficient with demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritise in fast moving production environments
? Strong organisational skills with experience of working to critical deadlines.
? Constructive and collaborative team working style; focus on results and solutions built through team collaboration
? Good office and administration skills, with a systematic approach to logging information.
? Experience leading a small team, delegating tasks, whilst being extremely hands-on and hard-working
